Inspired by the strong solid shapes of Newhaven harbour, “Tide Line” explores the marks left on the harbour wall by the changing tide. Woven as part of a group of large scale works for my first solo exhibition “Sea Journey”, this tapestry demonstrates the rich textural qualities that can be achieved in tapestry weaving
