Watching the gentle ebb and flow of the sea as it flows between the strong solid pillars of the harbour creates a tranquil and restful atmosphere. In designing this tapestry I was trying to recreate the same restful and contemplative feeling. This tapestry was woven for the “Sense of Identity” exhibition held in Museum of Art and Craft, Itami, Japan.
