“Sea Paper – Ocean”. 2010 – for sale
Size variable – 200 cm x 200 cm approx.
Sea Paper – Ocean is constructed of stitched and manipulated paper and salt. This work was inspired by the study of whirlpools and maelstroms, the powerful movement of water. My residency in Norway allowed me the time to explore new materials and approaches to my work. I had always loved the translucent qualities of tracing paper and my time in Stavanger allowed me the opportunity to explore the creative potential of this paper.
